What this job involves –

 As Sr. Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and coordinating operations and repairs for all electrical equipment onsite. You will work directly with EE and CE operations teams to write and approve technical MOPs for electrical repairs and maintenance. This role involves project management, customer relations, and ensuring compliance with safety standards in a critical facilities environment.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Managing and completing assigned projects, balancing customer requirements with company strategiesDetermining and facilitating the use of internal and external resources for projectsDefining customer project requirements and implementing project schedulesProviding ongoing updates to internal teams and customers regarding project statusBalancing customer priorities and negotiating compromises among projectsOverseeing document management processes and ensuring compliance with proceduresCapturing customer-impacting events for proactive problem managementEstablishing Key Performance Indicators and Key Factors for measurement and verificationProviding proposals for retrofits, upgrades, and enhancements to existing equipment

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Physical ability to walk job sites in uneven terrainProvide personal transportation for meetings and job visits away from the office; reimbursedAbility and willingness to work weekends, holidays, overtime as required, and be "on call" 24/7 for emergenciesWork in potentially hazardous environments with noise, moving parts, electrical and combustion equipment

Desired experience and technical skills

Required:

Five years of experience in facility management or related fieldFive years of experience in critical electrical industryDemonstrated proficiency in Critical Facilities Engineering responsibilitiesKnowledge of Data Center Operations and System configurationsIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio) and working knowledge of SharePointKnowledge of building infrastructure systemsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong team building and training skills

Preferred:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Engineering Professional affiliations (24x7, IFMA, and Data Center Pulse)Journeyman licenseWorking knowledge of typical mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems associated with Critical Environments
