Amazon Global Selling Team is looking for an energetic, motivated, and analytical Seller Education Manager with customer-facing experience to support new sellers and facilitate seller success across boarder.
As Seller Success Team, our mission is to empower selling partners interested in selling on Amazon to launch, build and grow their business on Amazon globally. As Seller Education Manager you will partner with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts to identify learner needs and to plan and execute training programs that is relevant, consistent, and compelling, working backwards from seller needs. You will effectively multitask and prioritize, maintaining a high level of flexibility, independence and commitment. You will be comfortable working in an international, fast-paced environment, where change and ambiguity are present as we constantly grow, improve, and innovate. Exceptional stakeholder management and project management skills are a must for this role as there will be many competing priorities and deadlines that will require strong organizational and expectation setting skills. The ideal candidate will have the functional skills to create educational materials, as well as the deep dive skills and customer obsession to have a great understanding of Selling Partner Experience.
Key job responsibilities
• Lead and manage end-to-end educational content creation, translation and localization projects, working closely with regional & local stakeholders and external vendors to ensure deliverables meet high quality bar.
• Create, organize, administer, maintain, and manage training.
• Design curriculums and learning tracks based on Selling Partner’s journey or profiles
• Develop project plans, managing time, budget, resources and quality control
• Identify seller pain points, collaborating with local stakeholders and generate actionable insights
• Track content usage metrics, Selling Partner satisfaction and provide recommendations for content strategy and education program.
• Manage content distribution and publishing via internal tools and our websites
• Develop Seller communication strategy to enhance sellers’ awareness on education programs through emails/website/social channels.
Basic Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in project management and/or delivering system training, technical skills, and customer service.
• Experiences in managing external customers and developing training materials
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both Chinese and English; this role will require the creation of content such as whitepapers and other written deliverables
• High level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations
• Strong analytical ability and skilled in MS Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
• Detail-oriented and organized, capable of handling multiple projects at once, and capable of dealing with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge in cross-border e-commerce or retail.
• Experience in delivering a blended learning environment including: eLearning, virtual training, and distance learning methods, classroom/instructor-led training, and on-the-job training/mentoring.
• Excellent skills in business analysis, problem solving, negotiation, and influencing
• Experience with content creation, translation, localization processes and tools, creating localized content and managing translation of materials, working with external vendors
• Proven abilities to be self-starter and pro-active
• Experience developing or editing multimedia (images, videos)
