Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Document Control Coordinator to join the Data, Power & Control Division in Canonsburg, PA. The Senior Document Control Coordinator leads the strategic direction and implementation of the organization’s document management framework within the Quality Assurance department. This senior-level role ensures that all controlled documentation is accurate, accessible, compliant with regulatory standards, and aligned with company goals. As a key stakeholder, the Senior Document Control Coordinator collaborates across departments to maintain excellence in document control practices, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support regulatory compliance efforts.
This newly created position is due to growth and advancement within one of our largest US facilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Document Management Strategy: Develop and implement long-term strategies to enhance document control processes, ensuring scalability and alignment with Starline's growth objectives.Oversight of Quality Documentation: Direct and oversee the creation, organization, maintenance, and security of critical documentation, including procedures, manuals, records, and technical reports.Regulatory Compliance Leadership: Ensure all document control practices comply with industry standards such as ISO 9001, FDA, and other relevant regulatory requirements.Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Identify opportunities for process optimization, data integrity improvements, and the adoption of new technologies in document management.Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing document control team, cultivating a culture of accountability and excellence.Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and other departments to coordinate documentation needs and ensure seamless communication.Audit Readiness and Support: Oversee audit preparation, ensuring that documentation systems are audit-ready for internal reviews, external inspections, and regulatory assessments.Training Programs: Design and deliver advanced training programs for staff and stakeholders on document control policies, systems, and regulatory updates.

QualificationsRequirements:
Education:
A Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related technical field is required.Advanced certifications in Quality Management Systems (QMS) or Document Control (e.g., CDIA+, AIIM) are preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in document control or quality management, preferably in a manufacturing or highly regulated environment.Proven track record in leading teams, managing complex documentation systems, and driving process improvements.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Comprehensive understanding of document control systems and industry standards such as ISO 9001, FDA, or GMP.Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities, with expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, document control software, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to all levels of the organization.
