GENERAL FUNCTION
This leadership role is responsible for shaping and executing the global manufacturing and repair services strategy, ensuring operational excellence across all sites. Working in close collaboration with R&D, the incumbent drives alignment between innovation and execution, while providing strategic direction, governance, and support to operations, supply chain, customer experience, quality, and distribution teams in Canada, the U.S., and Australia.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accountable to design and execute the strategic manufacturing and supply chain plan for HumanWare, including the design of long-term operational strategies and the selection and management of critical supply partners, in alignment with organizational objectives Leads the development and execution of an integrated operations strategy that aligns production costs, inventory management, and distribution planning with broader corporate financial and sales targets. Oversees strategic inventory planning to balance product availability with working capital optimization, ensuring readiness to support commercial objectives across global markets. Defines and champions a long-term quality and compliance vision, including ISO standards, by embedding quality systems thinking into operational processes and continuous improvement initiatives. Partners with Finance, HR, and Executive Leadership to forecast and align operational resource needs (human, physical, and financial) with the organization’s strategic growth priorities. Shapes the structure and evolution of the Operations leadership team, developing talent and succession pipelines through strategic workforce planning and performance coaching. Serves as the executive liaison on cross-functional and governance committees to ensure operational decisions support enterprise-wide initiatives and innovation readiness. Leads complex institutional projects as the strategic interface with key clients, ensuring alignment between product delivery, technical service expectations, and long-term business partnerships. Acts as a key R&D partner, bringing the voice of operations into product development cycles to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and lifecycle quality from design to delivery. Drives a culture of operational excellence, data-informed decision-making, and continuous improvement, while monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) across global sites.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Level of education and professional experience: Bachelor Degree in mechanical, industrial or electronic engineering (or equivalent experience) and at least 10 years of experience in operations management in the context of electronic product assembly Technical skills: Must have knowledge and understand technical discussions in all our manufacturing processes, management systems and Industry 4.0 principlesBehavioral Skills: Recognize in the organization as a Leader, capable of driving transformation across multi-sites and regions, driven by excellence and results, passionate with Operations topics, with a “on the floor mindset”, has demonstrated a record of success in growing people, innovative, structured and organized, analytical and synthesis skills, management of priorities, able to deal with ambiguity and constant changes, able to work/coach at all level in the organization top management
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
