**Opportunity**
Responsible for the successful operation of all Kohler Co. lodging properties currently including Riverbend, The American Club, Inn on Woodlake, Lodge Kohler, The Cabin Collection, Carriage House, Old Course Hotel, and any additions. This position is responsible for ensuring the services and physical properties of Kohler lodging outlets reflect luxury, quality standards, allowing the properties to compete nationally and internationally as award-winning resort properties.
**Specific Responsibilities**
+ Improve operating income as a percentage of net sales each year, through growth in sales and prudent expense control.Plan and carry out financial, strategic, and capital expense plans in a successful and timely manner.
+ Ensure high-quality, nationally recognized, award-winning standards are maintained in service, products, personnel and physical property.
+ Recommend and oversee implementation of sales plans for the operations. Evaluate and adjust plans to ensure financial objectives are being met.
+ Implement, evaluate, and maintain standard operating procedures. Ensure all reports and controlling documents required by Kohler Co. are accurate and complete
+ Actively participate in training and development programs related to lodging operations, culture and service
+ May periodically be assigned by the President to evaluate new development opportunities for Hospitality projects around the world.
+ Interact with other Hospitality Group businesses’ staff to ensure synergy in resort operations.
+ Strive to be aware of changing trends in the industry, market demographics, and competitors. Implement plans to deal with these changes effectively.
+ Supervise the planning and completion of capital projects to maintain and upgrade the physical property.
+ Manage all operational aspects of lodging property renovations to include opening and closing logistics, staffing plans, preparation of SOPs, implementation of systems in collaboration with digital and IT team
+ Actively collaborate with facility maintenance teams to develop a robust preventative maintenance program
+ Work closely with procurement to ensure vendor relationships are developed and maintained
+ Provide the creative impetus for new programs and activities to increase occupancy at all Kohler hospitality properties, especially during lower demand seasons
+ Support the President in the development of concept, presales, construction opening and operations of new developments.
+ Oversee other projects and assignments as required.
**Skills/Requirements**
+ Bachelor’s Degree required. Masters in Hospitality, Business Administration (or equivalent) preferred.
+ Managing Director of a 5 or 4 star/diamond hotel/resort property.
+ Ten years or more in the hospitality industry with experience in resort environments
+ A proactive and participative leader/executive who has demonstrated himself/herself in driving project execution, managing and leading a culture of continuous improvement and new creative thinking.
+ A history of building, developing and leading high-performance teams. One who can bring cohesion, focus and confidence to a group of operations executives. A strong relationship builder, both internally and externally. A demonstrated ability and track record of growing an organization’s diversity and intellectual capability. One who can attract, develop and retain talent.
+ Comfortable with financial analysis across the entire enterprise. He/she must have good business financial acumen. One who can absorb significant amounts of data and turn it into meaningful information. Experience in managing P&L’s is essential.
+ Exceptional communication skills. Able to effectively present externally and internally with poise, integrity and an engaging speaking style.

_The salary range for this position is $174,750 - $227,700. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k._
