Sr. Director IT, Commercial and Finance
**Work Schedule** Standard (Mon-Fri) **Environmental Conditions** Office **Job Description** The Sr. Director IT, Commercial and Finance links IT with Commercial and Finance, aligning tech with business goals. The role involves understanding business strategy and implementing technology solutions to drive outcomes. Focus on Global Commercial and Global Finance, lead digital roadmaps for excellence, and drive digital workstreams in critical initiatives like Accelerator and Eagle. **What will you do?** + Act as the primary liaison between the Commercial and Finance and IT, ensuring clear communication and understanding of functional requirements. + Develop the digital strategy and detailed roadmaps for both functions. + Make technology selection decisions, prioritize demand, develop budgets and resources for successful implementation, and unlock value for the business. + Represent the digital workstream in external customer engagements and forums. + Develop as-is and to-be application landscapes for both functions. + Build an efficient platform technology implementation plan and ensure successful adoption of technology solutions. + Be a guide and SPOC for all platform technologies such as mySupply, SFDC, Oracle Financial, and SAP FICO. + Partner with Procurement and Finance teams to handle AMC costs and CAPEX needed. + Develop a strong talent pool to support the implementation and post debut run support. + Stay updated on industry trends and standard methodologies in quality management and related IT solutions. + Ensure all IT solutions align with internal policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. + Facilitate regular meetings and communication between IT and Quality collaborators to review project progress, address issues, and align on priorities. **How will you get here?** **Education** Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. **Experience** + 20+ years of validated industry experience + Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with collaborators at all levels. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as ERP systems, QMS software, and data analysis tools. + Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. + Cultivating positive relationships; excellent social skills and interpersonal skills, including written, verbal, and presentation skills. + Navigating a large IT department with a high number of technologies and technical fields. + Domain-specific knowledge and expertise and ability to convert business strategy into IT roadmap. + Experience leading a matrix team of professionals and communicating with various levels of management is highly desired. + Experience as an IT leader at a manufacturing site (preferred) + Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) or project management (e.g., PMP). + Experience in a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, or healthcare. + Familiarity with IT governance frameworks such as ITIL or COBIT.
