About the Job:

The Sr. Director - Inclusion Business Partner plays a meaningful role in embedding inclusion into the core of our business, ensuring that it is not just a cultural aspiration but a strategic business driver of innovation and impact. The Inclusion Business Partner brings subject matter expertise and a dedicated focus on advancing inclusion across all aspects of the employee experience and business strategy.

You will work closely with HR Strategic Business Partners, business leaders and functional teams to integrate inclusion into the culture and key business strategies. The Inclusion BP will be responsible for crafting and implementing inclusion strategies that align with the organization’s goals, ensuring that inclusion efforts are woven into all aspects of business and people operations.

Inclusion will be a critical driver in our ability to reach more patients faster and integrate seamlessly across business functions. By embedding it closer to the business, we strive to cultivate a culture of inclusion for all and drive business success through growth, innovation, and agility.

Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:

Design Inclusion strategies by demonstrating two core pillars - Improve and Drive - that align with the organization’s goals and are consistent with the overall global inclusion strategy.Improve (Primary): Collaborate with HR and business leadership to build an environment where all employees feel included and a sense of belonging to perform at their best to deliver for patientsDrive (Secondary): Work with cross functional business teams to expand business impact through inclusive products, services, marketing, design, and access.Work with HR and business leaders to identify potential opportunities within business areas for improve and drive projects and manage overall enterprise project hopper.Support the Associate Director Inclusion Business Partner to conduct Inclusion Maturity Model Assessments to help businesses map where they are today and where they can move into the future.Assess and measure progress for each collaborator group based on maturity model assessment results and subsequent plans.Track and analyze key performance indicators and metrics to deliver success for both Enhance and Drive pillar responsibilities.

Inclusion Strategy Owner & Leader:

Serve as a member of the Inclusion Office Leadership Team, contribute to overall vision and strategy, align efforts with company priorities.Serve as the owner of the Inclusion Office Center of ExcellenceServe as the leader of the OUS Global Inclusion CouncilCounsel HR and business leaders on integrating Inclusion principles into our business, ensuring inclusive messaging and access for all.Collaborate with HR SBPs to ensure that Inclusion is considered in workforce planning, leadership development, and retention.Participate in workforce analytics debrief sessions, as needed, with the Inclusion Office, HR leadership, and Legal.

Advisor:

Serve as a trusted Advisor and resource to HR and business leaders on sophisticated Inclusion matters, ensuring alignment with the Center of Excellence, while reviewing and refining content for broader implementation and mitigating legal risks.Work with cross functional teams to expand the impact of Inclusion on the business

Cultural & Workforce Engagement:

Partner with Talent Management and the business on area culture, engagement, and inclusion

Leadership Development & Coaching:

Consult and partner with Global Leadership Development on programming and training.Supervise, coach, and develop the Associate Director – Inclusion Business Partner

Organizational Change:

Support the organization in managing cultural change to create a more inclusive and accessible work environment.Support the Associate Director Inclusion Business Partner to manage customers by regular mapping to understand willingness to change and likelihood of championing InclusionMobilize Inclusion champions and influencers to help implement strategy.

External Knowledge, Partnerships, & Surveillance:

Stay updated on global and local trends, legislation, and standard processes through research, external partnerships, courses, and conferences.Contribute to the evolution of Lilly’s Inclusion practices based on external insights.Collaborate with external partners and peers to share standard processes for advancing Inclusion.

This role will report directly to the Head of the Lilly Inclusion Office but will work closely with Senior Leadership Business Partners supporting their respective business areas.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in related business function or Human Resources.Bachelor’s degreeQualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$150,000 - $220,000

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
