About This Role:
Gartner Analysts are industry thought leaders who create must-have research, market predictions and best practices for a broad range of world-leading organizations. A Senior Director serves as a leader within Gartner Research and Advisory. Using exceptional research and analytical skills, a Senior Director produces pragmatic and provocative research to help Gartner clients propel their business toward key objectives. They are a trusted source of advice for clients, reinforcing Gartner’s value every day by engaging them via virtual meetings, sales support visits and Gartner events to discuss complex client challenges and offering appropriate recommendations.
This role sits within Gartner’s Marketing & Communications practice and will address the needs of CCOs and their key leaders in transforming internal communications for business impact. As disruptive forces inside and outside the enterprise impact the expectations and objectives of CCOs and their teams, this role will focus on internal communications leadership & strategy, C-Suite collaboration, effective change, culture and strategy communications, enabling leader and manager communications, and driving adoption of new technologies to turn disruptions to their advantage. Successful candidates will leverage a deep understanding of CCO priorities to advise communications leaders on:
Leading internal communications strategy and creating internal communications plans that lead to measurable business impact.Improving the communications effectiveness of leaders and managers.Enhancing executive communications to employees.Supporting employee engagement and performance in an environment of change, uncertainty and organizational transformation (including around AI).Defining and embedding cultural values that support business objectives.Reinforcing the employee value proposition through employee messaging and experience.Collecting employee insights to inform decision-making.Building support for and leading strategic communications transformation efforts across people, processes, and technology.Effectively collaborating with and building relationships across the C-Suite.Effectively rolling out and building adoption of new technologies and tools for the Communications function.Implementing strategic AI investments in consideration of existing technology, talent, and business objectives.What You Will Do
Deliver high-quality actionable advice to an executive client audience through a variety of media.Write evidence-based content that is clear and actionable.Create and deliver presentations for webinars and other client-facing Gartner events.Track and work closely with vendors, market trends, emerging technologies and practices to remain ahead of the curve within the fast-changing function of communications.Deliver outstanding sales and service support to retain and grow the Gartner business.Build credibility as a functional expert to represent Gartner research, methodology and strategy.Actively participate in innovation, ideation, and research discussions and collaborate effectively with peers in our research community.Identify research process improvements or develop new processes that help the team and Research & Advisory provide excellent service delivery.Be a mentor and a coach by supporting more junior team membersWhat You’ll Need

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 152,000 USD - 190,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
