Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Director, Product Management & Marketing to join the Kenall Lighting Team in Kenosha, WI. The Sr. Director is responsible for day-to-day operations of the product management and marketing departments. Responsible for business growth strategy, new product pipeline, portfolio management, external marketing, and commercialization. Ensure that departments in scope are running smoothly, efficiently, and profitably. Serve as a critical advisor to the business president on business operational issues and opportunities.

 

What Will You Do?

Develop an organizational growth strategy to meet or exceed revenue and profitability goals. Including aspiration, vertical markets, key customers and geographies, enablement, execution, and reporting.Develop and implement business infrastructure, systems, processes, and controls in complete alignment with organizational goals and strategies.Optimizes business processes, implements effectiveness measures, and drives process efficiencies.Manage department budgets, staffing, and priorities, and execute other day-to-day management activities.Implement and manage the Legrand Way offer creation process.Ensure successful launches of new products and services from ideation through the entire product life cycle.Build and manage a team of product managers responsible for creating product roadmaps for their respective verticals while ensuring products and features exceed customer expectations.Plan and implement a comprehensive marketing program for clients and targeted prospects to include all relevant forms of marketing communication.Recommend Channel and Agency Partner alignment strategy.Responsible for all other strategic initiatives as identified by business. Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Sales, or Business Administration. Sales and Product Management experience preferred.

 

Experience: 10+ years in the commercial electrical industry. Lighting and or lighting controls experience preferred. Sales and Production Management experience preferred.

 

Skills/ Knowledge/ Abilities:

Extensive knowledge of the electrical market and sales channels within the market.Ability to provide vision and leadership to each functional department.Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments and employees in a team-oriented environment.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams while successfully developing earlier-career staff members. Strategic, visionary, creative thinker, can attract and manage creative people and create powerful, positive branding, messaging, etc.Positive demeanor, team player; understanding people and motivations; provides leadership to Marketing; effective management, development, and satisfaction of direct reports. Ability to coach staff members on the desired behaviors of the business.Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
