**Job Title:** Sr. Director, Global Pricing North America Lead

**About the Job**
The primary purpose of the role is to validate prices, for North America, for all Sanofi Global Brands, ensuring they are set and updated in line with the Sanofi both Global Pricing Governance and Pricing Principles as well as Products Global Pricing Policies.
You will guide affiliates in optimizing prices, considering both Global Products Pricing Policies and local market conditions.
You will create pricing insights to informed decision-making, assessing, with a WW perspective, risks for Sanofi and the impact of any new price impact on both patient access and company profitability.
You will work closely with Local Market Access teams to monitor both execution of pricing strategies as well as to estimate Pricing trends, risk & opportunities for Sanofi in countries in scope. Your deep understanding of the US pricing ecosystem will be critical in validating that List and Net prices of Sanofi Global Brands are strategically set and updated to maximize both patient access and business performance.
As a global Pricing Lead in charge of the US, you should assess pricing implications of any change in countries regulations and/or practices and that is well integrated in our early Access and Pricing strategies of early assets.
As the Global Pricing Business Partner for the Immunology Global Franchise, you will work as the primary point of contact to the Immunology Global Market Access & Pricing team, working closely with the relevant GBU Market Access colleagues to ensure alignment across Sanofi on key pricing decisions. You will contribute with the internal stakeholders to create and maintain adequate pricing insights to support the development of Access and Pricing strategies, across-regions, throughout the entire Products life cycle management.
As a pricing Expert, you should contribute to Global Pricing capabilities building and ensure that pricing activities are delivered based on best-in-class methodologies, encompassing a better integration of data and advanced modelling, while helping accelerating the pricing digital transformation.
You will act as an ambassador for bringing Pricing standards to higher level for proper anticipation, simplification, and replicability across the portfolio.
You will provide pricing insights to the relevant Sanofi Global functions and will collaborate with:
+ Global Market Access CoE functions: Product Patrimony Management, Horizon scanning & Early Insights, Market Access Operations & Academy.
+ Corporate affairs
+ Other functions e.g. Finance (for strategic planning, budget preparation), Trade (e.g. tenders monitoring)

**Main Responsibilities:**
The **Global Pricing Lead acts** as a **Pricing expert** to the geography you oversee, by assessing prices of key brands, by leading pricing **optimization** initiatives and by managing cross-portfolio **Opportunities & Risks** .
To achieve that you will typically:
+ validate price setting/change request, perform pricing analysis
+ bring pricing insights on competition as defined by the brand teams
+ analyze pricing systems, project trends
+ down the line, ensure optimal local execution of product pricing strategies and guidelines and track price performance (including country innovative pricing and contracting schemes performance tracking, post implementation impact analysis…) to identify **areas of improvement** for next **pricing strategies across portfolio** .
+ provide pricing scenario **modeling** for launch as well as for in-line products (e.g. pricing impact from biosimilar entry, change in procurement mode…)
+ lead price **optimization** by analyzing List to Net cascade in value (e.g. statutory discounts and market access entry agreements),
+ advise country/market on portfolio arbitration and payer budget constraints analysis
+ provide recommendation to country/region for Strategic Planning, LRP, Budget, country business review price **assumptions** and analysis
+ carry out proper **training** on pricing information management sensitivity and confidentiality
+ In addition, as a Franchise Business Partner, you will be the pricing expert and primary contact on pricing topics for the GBU/TA in scope by:
+ providing **operational** and **strategic** insight on both actual and future market **pricing** -related **dynamics** within the pricing ecosystem,
+ delivering cross-regions pricing activities based on best-in-class methodologies,
+ providing cross-country expertise as to benchmark and allow cross-country fertilization, ultimately contributing to Global Product Pricing Policies definition and update.

**About You**
**Education:**
+ Bachelor of Science degree in related field; areas of Market Access, Health economics and/or health policy preferred
**Required experiences:**
+ Minimum 5-year experience in US Market Access & Pricing of Rx products
+ Deep knowledge of US healthcare system, including commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and other government channels
+ Comprehensive understanding of the US drug pricing continuum from manufacturer to patient, including wholesaler and pharmacy economics
+ Strong expertise in IRA implications, PBM contracting dynamics, 340B program, and other US-specific pricing considerations
+ Significant experience of reimbursement systems in key markets, international pricing rules and major pricing systems and their evolution.
+ Strong knowledge of price sensitivity and pricing scenarios modelling
+ Good knowledge of Health economics and contracting tactics
+ Experience developing launch pricing strategies for specialty products, preferably in immunology
+ Strong understanding of health economics data and financial analysis
+ Experience with pricing scenario modeling that incorporates complex US market dynamics

The salary range for this position is:
$202,500.00 - $292,500.00
All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
