Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to join our team as the Senior Director of Sales - Cybersecurity for Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMB) and Consumers. As the Senior Director you will be responsible for leading a high-performing sales organization focused on driving revenue growth and market penetration in the SMB and Consumer segments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of sales professionals, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and objectives. Set clear direction, goals, and performance expectations for the team.

2. Revenue Generation: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets, using a data-driven approach to assess market opportunities and customer needs.

3. Market Penetration: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand OpenText's presence in the SMB and Consumer cyber security market by developing and maintaining key customer relationships, partnerships, and channel sales strategies.

4. Team Development: Attract, retain, and develop top sales talent. Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to the sales team to maximize their performance and potential. 5. Sales Operations: Oversee and optimize the sales processes, systems, and tools to ensure efficiency and accuracy in forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting.

6. Customer Engagement: Foster strong customer relationships and act as an ambassador for OpenText, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

7. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and customer success, to ensure a cohesive and customer-centric approach.

8. Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure sales performance and provide regular updates to the President of OT Japan as well as the global SMB and Consumer leader.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).

• Proven track record of success in driving sales revenue and leading large sales organizations, particularly in the SMB, Consumer, or cybersecurity space.

• Strong understanding of the cybersecurity industry and market trends.

• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

• Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Japanese and English.

• Ability to travel as required.
