About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity to support our Technology team as a Senior DevOps Engineer supporting the development and deployment of Subway’s next-generation mobile and web applications. You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for our React Native mobile applications and React-based web application integrated with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). You’ll collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure fast, secure, and reliable deployments that power our global digital initiatives. This is a high-impact opportunity to drive automation, enhance release velocity, and improve system resilience across our digital ecosystem.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Architect, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for React Native and React applications, automating build, test, and deployment workflows across development, staging, and production environments. Integrate SonarQube into CI/CD pipelines to enforce code quality, detect bugs, and ensure maintainability, while implementing Wiz scans to identify and remediate cloud security risks and misconfigurations. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Terraform Cloud to provision, manage, and version cloud infrastructure in a scalable and automated manner. Manage SSL/TLS certificates across environments to ensure secure communication by automating renewal and deployment processes while monitoring expiration and compliance with Subway’s security standards. Manage mobile app releases to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Document CI/CD processes and train teams on best practices. Provide DevOps expertise and tooling support to cross-functional teams.

 

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience with mobile app deployment workflows and web application delivery. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps). Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/Terraform Cloud for scalable, automated infrastructure management. Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell). Familiarity with Adobe AEM and integrating React applications. Experience managing SSL/TLS certificates and related automation. Experience integrating SonarQube and cloud security scanning tools like Wiz. Experience with automated testing frameworks and release gate configuration. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities.
