**Job Summary** We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 4 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure SQL DB Azure Data Lake Store Azure DevOps TSQL and Azure Data Factory. Additionally experience in the Bioinformatics domain is mandatory. This role is based in our office and operates during day shifts. No travel is required. **Responsibilities** + Develop and maintain robust data solutions using Azure SQL DB to support bioinformatics applications. + Implement and manage data storage solutions using Azure Data Lake Store to ensure efficient data retrieval and storage. + Utilize Azure DevOps to streamline development processes and ensure continuous integration and delivery. + Write and optimize complex TSQL queries to support data analysis and reporting needs. + Design and develop data pipelines using Azure Data Factory to automate data workflows and ensure data integrity. + Collaborate with bioinformatics researchers to understand their data requirements and provide tailored solutions. + Monitor and troubleshoot data solutions to ensure high availability and performance. + Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members. + Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations. + Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and best practices. + Stay updated with the latest advancements in Azure technologies and bioinformatics to continuously improve solutions. + Document all development processes configurations and procedures for future reference. + Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objectives. **Qualifications** + Must have strong experience in Azure SQL DB for developing and maintaining data solutions. + Must have expertise in Azure Data Lake Store for efficient data storage and retrieval. + Must have hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for continuous integration and delivery. + Must be proficient in writing and optimizing TSQL queries. + Must have experience in designing and developing data pipelines using Azure Data Factory. + Must have domain experience in Bioinformatics to understand and address specific data requirements. **Certifications Required** Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer that embraces diversity, champions equity and values inclusion.
