**Job Summary** We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 4 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Power BI SQL Server Analysis Services and Bioinformatics. This role involves developing and maintaining data models reports and dashboards to support our business objectives. The position is based in our office and operates during day shifts. **Responsibilities** + Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to support business decision-making. + Utilize Power BI Report Builder to create and customize reports. + Implement data models using Power BI to ensure data integrity and accuracy. + Use Microsoft Fabric + Power BI to integrate and manage data from various sources. + Develop Power Apps to enhance user interaction and data entry processes. + Manage and deploy reports on Power BI Report Server. + Perform data analysis using SQL Server Analysis Services. + Ensure data security and compliance on Power BI Service. + Create complex data models and relationships in Power BI. + Write and optimize Mash Up Language queries for data transformation. + Develop and maintain DAX expressions for data analysis in Power BI. + Utilize Azure Analysis Services for advanced data analytics. + Leverage MS Excel for data manipulation and reporting. + Design and manage databases using SQL. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements. + Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support business objectives. + Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and project timelines. + Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Power BI and Bioinformatics. + Contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes and systems. + Support end-users with training and troubleshooting as needed. + Document all development processes and maintain comprehensive records. **Qualifications** + Must have strong experience in Power BI Report Builder Microsoft Fabric + Power BI and Power Apps. + Should have expertise in Power BI Report Server and SQL Server Analysis Services. + Must be proficient in Power BI Service and Data Modelling + Power BI. + Should have experience with Mash Up Language + Power BI and DAX + Power BI. + Must be knowledgeable in Azure Analysis Services and MS Power BI. + Should have advanced skills in MS Excel and Database management. + Must have domain expertise in Bioinformatics. + Should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. + Must possess strong communication and collaboration abilities. + Should be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks effectively. + Must be committed to continuous learning and professional development. **Certifications Required** Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer that embraces diversity, champions equity and values inclusion.
