We are currently seeking a Sr. Demand Planner to join our team in Lake Forest, IL. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining Reagent demand and supply forecasts to meet customer service and target inventory levels.
Responsibilities
Reviews data from various sources to establish and refresh demand forecasts. Analyzes trends and updates forecasts as necessary. Facilitates meetings with relevant stakeholders to ensure clarity between demand and supply.Responsibly manages inventory levels balancing customer service levels and division financial objectives. Forecasts inventory levels and reports on actuals.Partners with internal / external suppliers, warehouse partners and/or affiliates to optimize the flow of material.Elevates short supply risk and leads mitigation efforts. Coordinates with customer service and/or affiliates on product allocations during periods of short supply to minimize impact to revenue.Represents planning on key divisional New Product Launch (NPI) projects and product phase outs. Executes necessary new item setup steps in MRP and SAP systems.Leads and/or contributes to cross functional business processes and supply chain continuous improvement projects.Maintains MRP and SAP planning master data and router accuracy.Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance or related field.3-5 years experience in forecasting / demand planning.Experience working in a broader enterprise / cross-division business unit model preferred.Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in fast paced, changing environment.Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting IVDs and Biologics preferred.Experience with SAP and MRP software preferred.Strong analytical skills. MS Excel experience required. Power BI experience preferred.Strong written and verbal communication and elevation skills required.Travel – 5-10%.Apply Now

The base pay for this position is $75,300.00 – $150,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
