Location: Preferably based in Catania, with travel across Sicily and Calabria
Contract: Full-time, permanent , company car

What You’ll DoInstallation, Support & Troubleshooting
Perform on-site installation, maintenance, qualification, and repair of laboratory instrumentationDiagnose and resolve hardware/software issues, ensuring timely and effective supportConduct software and firmware updates maintaining thorough documentation of all interventionsDeliver hands-on training to users and ensure they can operate systems confidentlyCustomer Relationship & Communication
Act as a trusted technical partner to customers, ensuring their satisfaction and system performanceMaintain clear and regular communication, offering guidance and updates throughout service engagementsWork closely with internal teams and vendors to solve complex technical issues and align on customer needsService Development & Collaboration
Support the launch of new instruments and services, ensuring successful adoption in the fieldCollaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for upgrades, consumables, or additional servicesRepresent PerkinElmer’s quality standards and service excellence in every customer interactionContinuous Learning & Growth
Engage in ongoing training and certification programs to deepen your product knowledgeStay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in instrumentation and laboratory supportWhat We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, Electronics, or equivalent technical experienceMinimum 3–5 years of experience in technical support, field service, or lab instrumentationExperience with AA, ICP-OES, ICP-MS or similar analytical instruments is highly valuedPrevious work in laboratory settings (pharma, academia, clinical, research) is a strong plusStrong problem-solving mindset and autonomy in field operationsSolid communication skills and customer-facing attitudeProfessional level of English (written and spoken)Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet) familiarity with CRM (e.g. ServiceMax) systems is a plusWillingness to travel frequently across Sicily and CalabriaAt PerkinElmer, we empower scientists, researchers, and healthcare professionals to push boundaries and improve lives.
