Sr. Customer Service Representative
Description Robert Half Lexington is looking for an experienced Sr. Customer Service Representative to join a team in Lexington, Kentucky. This Contract to long-term position offers an opportunity to support clients in the hospitality industry by delivering exceptional service and tailored lodging solutions. The role requires strong decision-making, communication, and organizational skills to ensure client satisfaction and operational success. These openings are schedules that include both weekend days and are more of a 2nd shift schedule of 2pm-11pm or 1:30p-10pm type schedule. Apply today to be considered! Responsibilities: • Handle reservation requests for extended stays, ensuring client needs are met while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. • Evaluate hotel options and negotiate rates in alignment with client guidelines and organizational policies. • Build and maintain relationships with hotel partners to secure favorable rates, discounts, and agreements. • Utilize industry knowledge and market insights to recommend lodging solutions that meet client preferences and requirements. • Manage communications with clients and hotels regarding reservation changes, extensions, and cancellations. • Resolve issues and conflicts between clients and hotels promptly and effectively. • Ensure all client deadlines are met and provide timely updates on reservation progress. • Participate in scheduled training sessions, meetings, and events to enhance skill development. • Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational and customer service needs. Requirements • High School diploma or equivalent. • 1-3 years of relevant experience in customer service or hospitality. • Proven ability to solve complex problems using critical thinking and sound judgment. • Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to delivering accurate and high-quality service. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general internet navigation. • Availability for on-call rotations outside of regular working hours. • Experience working in call center environments and familiarity with call center metrics. • Knowledge of hotel reservation processes and systems is preferred.
