Sr. Customer Sales Analyst– Kroger
Job Description

The Sr. Customer Sales Analyst (Sr. CSA) embodies this aspiration perfectly and will be a vital internal sales position to deliver actionable business insights that support growth on the Kroger team – a $2B business. Additionally, the Sr. CSA will a central position to help steer data for sales planning with the development of actionable and impactful data visualization tools (primarily via Power BI) and continually working to improve sales value across all Kraft Heinz categories via data pulling, visualization and analysis.

The Sr. CSA will be a critical part of driving the Kroger Data & Analytics team vision of being the best in leveraging our data with key stakeholders – internally and externally.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Business Intelligence & Data Visualization

Brings specific technical knowledge and understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) tools to drive development and evolution of data platforms with a specific focus / background on Power BI

Key leader and subject matter expert in developing the back-end infrastructure of our data & analytics tools

Brings best practices and thought leadership on how to evolve our BI capabilities to drive speed to action and growth for the business

Understands the key Data & Analytics challenges we are trying to solve on the Kroger team and develops viable solutions to address those problems effectively and with agility

Leverages background in BI to apply route cause analysis and strong recommendations for continuous improvement / match the evolving needs of the customer

Data Reporting:

High degree of familiarity with syndicated data (Market 6 and IRi) and Stratum (84.51 HH panel) data.

Ensures that the customer, consumer and category insights are delivered with full data accuracy and timely

Pulls relevant information to build actionable analysis, insights to support effective selling stories.

Develops impactful customer specific selling stories that reflect key category business building initiatives.

Expected Experience & Required Skills

Tested experience in Power BI development, including report and dashboard creation. Power BI certifications are a plus

Understanding of data modeling and data visualization concepts

Experience with SQL for data manipulation and extraction

Knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for creating calculations is a plus

Familiarity with data warehouse concepts & data ingestion – specifically Snowflake

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as a part of a team

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Strong presentation Skills including Verbal & Written (PowerPoint deck)

Experience with Circana, Stratum/Market6, Numerator, Excel, 1WorldSync, Spark

Adaptability to changing business requirements

Self-starter – highly motivated and proactive approach to all task

Minimum Qualifications

2-3 years of experience in sales, customer management and account management

Power BI development experience

Solid written / oral communication skills

Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$88,000.00 – $110,000.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
