The Senior Credit Administrator is responsible for providing analytical and subject matter expertise for the management of various lending support functions such as Loan Policy, Allowance for Loan Losses, Credit Risk Assessment, Lending Concentrations and Troubled Debt Restructure and communicating results to examiners, auditors, regulators and senior Bank management.
Key Responsibilities:
· Analyzes lending activity and trends in loan and policy exceptions; prepares, interprets and presents reports regarding risk to the Credit Committee.
· Conducts analysis to identify and monitor, troubled debt restructures.
· Identifies and maintains loans subject to impairment classification and calculates individual loan impairment reserves.
· Maintains Bank’s allowance for loan loss methodology applying accounting and regulatory standards and produces quarterly ALLL Narrative report with analysis and impact of key external market forces and internal credit metrics and trends on potential portfolio losses.
· Manages lending business line concentrations and prepares and presents analysis for changes in capital and portfolio targets to the Credit Committee.
· Ownership of all Loan Policies (General, Commercial, Consumer, Real Estate). Identifies policy changes based on industry best practices and regulatory, product and underwriting changes. Submits for Board approval. Assists lending staff with loan policy questions, application and interpretations.
· Manages departmental records on historical trends and audit recommendations.
Competencies Required
· Strong knowledge of lending related rules, regulations, accounting guidelines and the associated support systems that implement and conform lending data to expected standards.
· Solid understanding of regulatory lending exam requirements and expectations.
· Self-starter who uses time effectively and efficiently meeting required deadlines.
· Strong analytical and reporting skills with good attention to detail and concern for data accuracy.
· Solid technology abilities, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and database applications.
· Excellent presentation and communication skills, including technical writing abilities.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience
· 7-9 years credit or lending experience in the banking or financial services industry.
Formal Education & Certification
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration; or an equivalent amount of related experience.

· None.

· 0% - Negligible amount of travel expected.
Working Conditions
· Conditions involve lifting no more than ten pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, ledgers, folders, etc.
