Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Cost Accountant to join our team in Emeryville, California. In this role, you will oversee cost accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting decision-making processes. If you have a strong background in cost analysis, budgeting, and ERP systems, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities: Cost Card Review + Review BOMs and cost cards from co-manufacturers. PO & Invoice Issue Resolution + Investigate and direct PO, invoice, and item receipt mismatches. + Identify root causes and coordinate resolution across departments. Co-Manufacturer Reconciliations + Manage reconciliations related to waste, PPV, and true-ups. Raw Material Reserves & Write-Offs + Oversee raw material reserve and write-off process with Supply Planning. Cross-Functional Improvements + Collaborate with Operations to enhance cost accounting processes. + Train teams on accounting practices and lead special projects. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) + Minimum 5 years of cost accounting experience + Proficient in Excel; experience with NetSuite or similar ERP preferred + Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills + Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities + Self-motivated, able to work in fast-paced environments and meet deadlines + Capable of working independently and remotely + Committed to data accuracy and integrity Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
