Sr. Corporate Accountant
Description We are looking for a Senior Corporate Accountant to join a dynamic Corporate Finance Group within a global private investment firm based in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance, and supporting various accounting functions across multiple entities and geographic regions. Responsibilities: • Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. • Conduct thorough account reconciliations during quarterly closings, ensuring accuracy and completeness. • Record and reconcile monthly cash activity for corporate-managed bank accounts, improving processes as needed. • Collaborate with international offices to manage deliverables such as financial reporting packages, statutory audits, and quarter-end processes. • Reconcile inter-company accounts and prepare recurring expense schedules and invoices for international operations. • Coordinate with consultants and compliance teams to produce financial reports for a regulatory-registered broker-dealer entity. • Support FP& A and finance teams with specialized reporting requirements and ad hoc analysis. • Assist in designing and maintaining internal controls, ensuring robust process documentation. • Facilitate document requests for audits and compliance reviews, adhering to regulatory requirements. • Engage in various ad hoc projects to support the evolving needs of the Corporate Finance Group. Requirements + Minimum 2–3 years of experience in public accounting, with preference given to candidates from a Big 4 firm. + Active CPA certification required. + Open to candidates with diverse industry or client backgrounds, ideally with experience in multinational service organizations. + Prior exposure to clients involved in consolidating financials is highly preferred. + Advanced Excel skills are essential; a skills assessment may be part of the hiring process.
