Sr. Conveyor Maintenance Technician – Night Shift Job ID 229499 Posted 17-Jul-2025 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Engineering/Maintenance, Facilities Management Location(s) Bethlehem - Pennsylvania - United States of America **About the Role:** As a CBRE Sr. Conveyor Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installation, preventive maintenance, and the corrective repair of the automated packing and distribution equipment. This job is part of the Material Handling job function. They are responsible for the incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products and parts. The shift for this position is as follows: + **Sunday- Tuesday** : 4:30 PM - 4:30 AM + **Wednesday** : 4:30PM-10:30pm The expected pay range is $36.00 to $39.20 per hour, plus a $2.00 per hour shift differential. **What You’ll Do:** + Assist with technical and safety training, including mentoring junior technicians. + Lead or support efficiency improvement initiatives and Kaizen activities across the site and network. + Adhere to department business plans and budgets while maintaining high operational standards. + Perform regular maintenance to ensure optimal condition of all mechanical and electrical equipment, including conveyor and sortation systems. + Troubleshoot and resolve issues using technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering specifications. + Inspect and verify the functionality of safety systems and equipment. + Use voltage meters and other diagnostic tools to assess AC/DC systems. + Identify and locate the correct parts and products during the delivery and repair process. + Follow established procedures to solve problems, with opportunities to exercise discretion and judgment. + Deliver results independently or with minimal supervision, following defined processes and standards. **What You’ll Need:** + High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma; or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Minimum **5 years of experience** with mechanical and electrical systems, including conveyor/sortation systems or similar equipment. + At least **2 years of leadership or mentoring experience** in a technical environment. + Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering specifications. + Proficiency with voltage meters and working knowledge of AC/DC systems. + Experience with mechanical components such as conveyors, bearings, rollers, chains, sprockets, belts, gearboxes, motors, and sorters. + Physical ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and lift/carry loads of 50 lbs. or more. + Strong multitasking and organizational skills. + Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook). + Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, discounts, and markups. + Effective communication skills for exchanging technical and operational information. **Why CBRE?** A culture of respect, integrity, service, and excellence crafts our approach to every opportunity!
