In this role, Lead/take complete ownership of assigned data visualization and dashboard efforts across subject areas within the Insurance domain
Responsibilities
Lead/take complete ownership of assigned data visualization and dashboard efforts across subject areas within the Insurance domain (Submission, Policy/Premium or Claim level analysis etc).
Ability to work directly with business users to understand requirements and provide recommendations on how best to display data in a report or visual dashboard.
Ability to present exhibits and data visuals directly to stakeholders and effectively recommend solutions/options that would be better for the Business
Must have the ability to bridge the communication gap between business users and technical support resources.
Ability to learn complex data sources and merge data across disparate systems to meet business requirements.
Provide reporting and data analysis support for various business partners within North America Business units
Create standard operating procedures for new requirements and manage the transition to offshore support teams or junior staff.
Process change requests on steady state dashboard reports with attention to reconciliation expectations.
Execute standard testing and reconciliation for new or revised standard dashboard reports.
Share knowledge with other junior team members.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
B.Tech, MCA or M.Com Post Graduate
Proficient in coordinating with Internal/External stakeholders along with process management
Relevant years insurance data experience. Knowledge of US PC and Specialty Insurance Industry
Relevant years Power BI, Power Automate, SQL Advanced Excel
Relevant years experience with SQL data management and advanced relational databases
Knowledge of Amazon Redshift, Salesforce and Cloud services is good to have
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Expert knowledge of PowerBI, Power Automate required and SQL. Good understanding of Gateways and Data Flows
Excellent communication skills with analytical mind set
SQL expertise required. Requires advanced understanding of data modeling, table relationships, and query optimization. Skilled in merging data from multiple disparate sources.
Python/R knowledge for integration with PowerBI is good to have
Ability to own report development effort with minimal supervision.
Problem solving; data related trouble-shooting such as identifying reconciliation variances, or determining cause of data anomalies.
Ability to interview users and understand requirements.
Expert in Power BI and MS Excel
Be able to prioritize based on due dates and task demands.
