The Opportunity

Cat Reman has an exciting opportunity for an experienced communications professional to join our team as a Senior Communications Specialist. You’ll play a key role in supporting strategic communications across the division, acting as a trusted advisor to the Vice President of Operations and helping shape messaging for thousands of frontline, support and management employees.

As a strategic partner, you’ll collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to develop and execute communication plans that drive employee engagement, support business priorities, and enable change. You’ll lead content creation efforts, craft compelling narratives, and ensure consistent messaging across channels and audiences.

This position reports to the Cat Reman Communications Manager and works closely with the broader communications team to deliver aligned, impactful communications that inform, inspire, and connect employees across the division.

What You Will Do:

Develop and execute communication strategies that support Cat Reman’s business goals, drive alignment and foster a strong culture.Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, helping shape messaging and deliver clear, consistent communications that support change and engagement initiatives.Create compelling content for internal channels, including executive messaging, employee campaigns, and digital platforms.Manage internal communications channels and calendars, ensuring timely and relevant content delivery.Plan and execute employee meetings, events and campaigns that support the business strategy and reinforce Cat Reman's growth culture.Collaborate with the broader communications team to ensure consistency and alignment across audiences and platforms.Embrace technology and creative approaches to reach and engage employees in meaningful ways.

What You Will Have:

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or equivalent experience in corporate communicationsMessage Creation: Strong copywriting and editing skills with the ability to craft clear, engaging content tailored to diverse audiences and formatsInterpersonal Relationships: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across a matrixed organization; ability to collaborate and work with leaders and business partnersInternal Communications: Experience managing internal communication tools and channels, producing and distributing content such as newsletters, campaigns and change communicationsPlanning and Organizing: Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize and execute multiple projects independently and with urgency; skilled at simplifying complex ideas, anticipating stakeholder needs and adjusting messaging to drive clarity and alignmentOutcomes Focus: Ability to align communication efforts with business goals, measure effectiveness and adjust tactics to improve impactSpeaking & Presentation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in presenting ideas and recommendations to senior leaders

Summary Pay Range:

$110,520.00 - $165,840.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
