Job DescriptionABOUT YOUR ROLE:
The Commercial Excellence Manager is responsible for optimizing the commercial performance of the organization by developing and implementing strategies that enhance sales effectiveness, customer engagement, and market growth. This role will work closely with the sales, technical services, customer services, business development, PLT, marketing, finance and IT teams to analyze data, benchmark external best practices, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure alignment with the company's overall business objectives. The manager will be tasked with driving the adoption of best practices, tools, and processes that increase productivity, efficiency, and profitability across the commercial organization.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Process Streamline & Competency:
Lead initiatives to simplify, standardize, and automated processes across the commercial value chain to drive profitable growth, such as pipeline management, key account mgt, account planning, channel mgt, pricing integrity to drive profitable growth.
Establish value stream mapping and ground rules standardization between different sales segments to ensure an agile and smooth sales process between different segments and BUs.
Champion collaboration methodology with different segments, BUs, functions.
Help to develop the competency focus and priority to ensure the commercial team effectively engages customers and end users to achieve business objectives.
Commercial Strategic Plan:
Collaborate with leadership to support the commercial strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth objectives and enhancing the customer experience.
Support strategic initiatives and innovation for customers and end-users with BD integrations.
Conduct market and competitive analysis, identify and execute customer facing team efficiency and productivity Initiatives across customer facing functions.
Support the development and implementation of go-to-market strategies, sales enablement, and customer / market segmentation.
Commercial Digitalization:
Lead the digital transformation of commercial processes and data to enhance pipeline, decision making, customer engagement and sales growth.
Deploy AI-powered sales tools to build data-driven commercial operations and automated workflows.
Optimize the business application development & support of SFDC and Oracle.
QualificationsBachelor degree or above.
Fluent English and Chinese speaking ability.
Has commercial excellence experience of at least 10 years with a proven track record in commercial optimization and performance analysis.
Experience in developing and implementing commercial strategies across diverse markets and regions.
Has worked in a Sales Enablement / Operation role where the objectives are to drive productivity, efficiency and overall effectiveness of the Sales Organization.
Experience with CRM and ERP tools and ideally salesforce & Oracle systems.
Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and customer lifecycle management.
Has had a selling role for at least 5 years (Sales Rep, BD or Manager).
Preference for someone who has managed salespeople.
