SUMMARY
The Sr. CNC Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting CNC and Swiss Lathes including Star, Miyano, Sharp, Hass and MOREY. They will also be responsible for preventative and predicative maintenance of the facility. Additionally, they will manage the maintenance team, drive improvements to its systems and contribute to repairs and assistance as required. This person will participate in the company-wide lean conversion process, which will have an impact on safety, quality, delivery and cost. They will be available as the emergency contact for off-shift and weekend maintenance issues. This position includes the opportunity to select health insurance and sign up for a 401k matching fund. It is located at our climate-controlled facility in West Chester, PA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure CNC planned maintenance procedures are completed including troubleshooting hydraulics, electronics, software, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systemsInvestigate equipment failures to diagnose improper operation, remediate, and recommend future preventative maintenance to avoid in the futurePerform machine and equipment installation, relocation, removal/salvage, and repairsManage and perform maintenance duties or delegate where necessary to other maintenance personnelManage, track, perform, and continually improve Preventative Maintenance (PM) program for the facility as well as train maintenance team members on PM tasks and process changesManage, teach, and perform repairs and maintenance plan for physical structure and generator, power, HVAC, and otherOrder any related equipment items as needed or delegate tasks to maintenance teamManage maintenance and paperwork for company transportation vehicleResearch, design, evaluate, install, and generate maintenance records for equipment needed to meet operational requirementsCall in as necessary and manage outside services personnel when on siteCreate necessary P.O.s in Oracle to make purchases related to maintenanceAct as point of contact and on-site knowledge expert for hazardous materialsLead by example for safety and quality through discipline to 5S programCritical Competencies
