**About the Client:**
Our client is a global **B2B leader** in **electrical products, solutions, and services** , operating across **170+ companies** worldwide. They are undergoing a **multi-year digital transformation** to deliver a seamless **omnichannel experience** by modernizing platforms, scaling operations, and integrating **data and AI** to enhance customer engagement. This role supports a major **platform engineering initiative** , part of a **transitional modernization bridge** that will evolve into a **unified digital ecosystem** .
As a **Sr. Cloud Infrastructure Engineer** , you’ll be part of the **Platform Engineering team** leading the transition to a **cloud-first infrastructure** . Your mission will be to drive the implementation of **secure-by-design DevOps practices** , **automate operational workloads** , and enable **observability** at scale. You’ll collaborate with **DevOps engineers** , **architects** , and **cross-functional Agile squads** to enhance and secure **CI/CD pipelines** , provision **cloud-native tools** , and generate visibility through **KPIs and reporting dashboards** . This is a **hands-on role** with strategic impact on **platform reliability** , **security** , and **delivery speed**
**Overview**
As a **Sr. Cloud Infrastructure Engineer** , you’ll be part of the **Platform Engineering team** leading the transition to a **cloud-first infrastructure** . Your mission will be to drive the implementation of **secure-by-design DevOps practices** , **automate operational workloads** , and enable **observability** at scale. **Your Impact:**
+ Enhance **CI/CD pipelines** by embedding **security-first practices** across development and deployment workflows
+ Design and provision **cloud-native tools** to automate administrative and operational tasks
+ Deploy and maintain **Infrastructure as Code** using **Terraform** to ensure compliance and consistency
+ Implement **DevSecOps standards** and integrate modern **security tools** into the delivery pipeline
+ Collaborate with **architects** and **development teams** to embed security from the earliest stages of development
+ Generate and present **DevOps KPIs** to demonstrate **risk reduction** and **process maturity**
+ Act as a **change agent** for DevOps best practices within a **large-scale Agile ecosystem**
+ Optimize infrastructure performance and security using **Azure ADO** , **ArgoCD** , and **multi-cloud strategies**
+ Contribute to **platform engineering roadmaps** and drive continuous improvement in deployment practices
**Your Skills & Experience:**
+ **6+ years** of experience in **DevOps** or **Cloud Engineering** roles
+ **B2+ English level** , with excellent written and spoken communication in **global team environments**
+ **2–3 years** working directly with **security in CI/CD pipelines**
+ Hands-on expertise with **CI/CD automation frameworks** , including **Azure DevOps (ADO)** and **ArgoCD**
+ Advanced proficiency in **Terraform** and other **infrastructure automation tools**
+ Track record of building meaningful **DevOps KPIs** and driving adoption of **secure practices**
+ Strong **collaboration skills** with architects and **Agile product teams**
+ **Proactive, adaptable mindset** with the ability to influence **engineering culture at scale**
**Set Yourself Apart With:**
+ Proven experience in **multi-cloud environments** , particularly **Azure** and **GCP**
+ Practical experience integrating **security tools** like **Checkov** , **Snyk** , or **Aqua** into pipelines
+ Experience working in **enterprise-scale Agile environments**
+ Involvement in **digital transformation** or **cloud migration** projects
+ Ability to **mentor engineers** and advocate for **DevOps maturity** across teams
