Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Senior Cloud Cyber Security Engineer - Remote.

Overview

Performs forensic analysis of digital information and gathers and handles evidence. Identifies network computer intrusion evidence and perpetrators. Investigates computer fraud or other electronic crimes, crack files and system passwords, detect steganography, and recover deleted, fragmented, and corrupted data from digital media of all types. Ensures chain of custody and control procedures, documents procedures and findings in a manner suitable for courtroom presentation, and prepares comprehensive written notes and reports. May be required to testify in court as expert witnesses.

Responsibilities typically include:

• Managing projects/processes, and working independently with limited supervision.

• Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals.

• Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
 

Education

Bachelors Degree + 5 years relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of degreeNo Degree + 7 years of relevant experience without a degree

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$91,416.00-$152,380.80. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
