What will you be doing?

The Client Insights Consultant will be supporting the Consumer Business Intelligence (CBI), sales and marketing teams at a $9B Wellness & Beauty company with leading brands in OTC, Oral Care, Wound Care, Baby Care and Beauty.  You will work closely with the client on analyses, leveraging our industry-leading data-visualization platform to evaluate POS, Consumer Panel and e-Commerce data.  You will be involved with delivering actionable insights that uncover growth opportunities for the client. You will be actively involved in the development and presentation of actionable insights to your client partners.

 

The candidate should have strong leadership, collaboration, sales and client management skills. The candidate should be able to understand client business issues and recommend appropriate Circana solutions to address those needs. They should have a very high analytic & insight capability utilizing POS and consumer panel data to provide compelling analysis stories with actionable insights. The candidate should also have strong skills with excel, powerpoint, syndicated data, etc. The candidate should also have strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to interact with senior levels at the client.

 

Job Responsibilities

Strong leadership, collaboration and client management skills. They should have very high analytic & insight capability utilizing POS and Panel data. Grow and maintain relationships with the CBI, brand marketing teams and sales teams to ensure that Circana delivers the insights the client needs to address their most important business issues. Leverage data, analytics and insights to address any business gaps or opportunities, driving value to the client. Ensure overall client satisfaction by managing relationships, delivering insights, recommendations and building a reputation for excellence. Revenue accountability with expectation of annual growth

To be successful in this role you must possess and be able to execute four key skill sets:

Advanced Analytic Skills: Demonstrate ability to analyze and interpret data and translate it into meaningful solutions for clients: Approach client with coherent, actionable and fact-based data/recommendations appropriate to their business needs. Continually provide analytical solutions and business insights to address any business gaps and/or opportunities and create value for the client with focus on leveraging technology and speed to insights. Identify business issues and opportunities and suggests the appropriate level analytic solution/approach, while also best leveraging UNIFY+ platform and tools Directly partner with Advanced Analytics counterpart to further connect analytics solutions to client’s commercial business needs. Leverage client business context to further identify custom Analytics opportunities and solutions.  Partner with Advanced Analytics to integrate advanced solutions into BI front end and Unify+ for broader consumption/use.  Impactful Presence: Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills; present a professional image: Become trusted by client, Circana client solutions teams, Circana cross functional organizations, Circana business partners and considered a domain expert and business partner Demonstrate a flexible approach to communication; adapt messages quickly to the appropriate level or function with poise and polish Client Focus: Consistently act with client satisfaction in mind and follow through on commitments to ensure the needs of the client are met. Engage in Consultative Selling to identify, create and close business opportunities: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and requirements Help customers identify solutions to problems they did not know they had Ask questions to test assumptions and challenges the status quo Synthesize information on a variety of issues; translate the information into a project framework that ultimately provides solutions for clients Regularly and proactively communicate with the client-facing teams, including soliciting feedback to continually improving the relationship Track and organize multiple work streams against multiple clients, and manage time and resources against changing priorities

Requirements

Educational background (College Degree required/MBA preferred) Years of experience (10+) with market research, consumer-packaged goods (CPG) or marketing services Proficiency with syndicated data tools such as Circana, IRI, NPD, or similar platforms is a requirement. Demonstrated expertise in utilizing and integrating multiple data sources (point-of-sale, panel, etc.) to address client business challenges, delivering data-driven insights and implications. Skilled in engaging clients in a consultative manner to effectively solve and manage content deliverables. Strong analytical, storytelling and communication skills

Location

This position can be located in the following area(s): Must be able to travel to client office in Summit, NJ      1-2 days per week as required.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.  An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $$150,000 - $175,000. Application deadline is 9/30/2025.

This job is also eligible for bonus pay
