Sr. Category Manager - SMU & Kids
Overview

As the SMU (Special make up) & Kid’s Sr. Category Manager with HEYDUDE you will manage the Kids global line plan & Account exclusive program to meet the strategic goals and long-term vision of the brand.  You will use your passion for trend and footwear to build a strong product range for the HEYDUDE Kid’s consumer globally whilst also being an expert on Men’s & Women’s global key accounts & their consumers. This role is highly collaborative and coordinates across multiple functions and timelines. You will apply effective communication and organizational skills to support the product creation process from end-to-end.  

What You'll Do Passion for the footwear industry across all three categories: Men’s, Women’s & Kid’s Be on the pulse of trend & fashion within this footwear Deep knowledge of the global consumer, with a passion for the HEYDUDE consumer. Demonstrate consumer, competitor, and data-driven insights to drive the vision for Kid’s footwear category. Knowledge of the global marketplace and experience working with key retail partners. Understand key brand objectives and initiatives on an annual and seasonal basis. Build impact through product management excellence, line planning, briefing, product lifecycle & triad collaboration. Lead development of account-exclusive products for Men’s, Women’s, and Kids categories. Collaborate with Sales, Merchandising, and Key Account teams to understand needs and create custom assortments. Ensure SMUs align with brand positioning while meeting individual account strategies and volume targets. Lead by example & mentor greener teammates. Drive analytical work with historical & real-time performance data using an insight-to-action approach to support decision-making. Management of PLM system & samples as needed with support of Associate Category Manager. What You'll Bring to the Table Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required 5 years’ experience in product line management/footwear preferred Experience managing SMUs or account-specific product programs Experience presenting independently to Key Accounts Strong organizational skills & attention to detail and deadlines Excellent communication skills and works collaboratively with cross-functional team members. Willingness to go-with-the-flow in a start-up culture. A passion for understanding consumer, culture, market & trends with a distinguished taste-level and eye for commerciality. Seeks to understand multiple points of view, maintain a learning mentality, and expresses viewpoints with confidence. Strong Microsoft Office skills; specifically, within PowerPoint and Excel. Experience within PLM system (Centric or similar) Excellent analytical abilities and an action-oriented approach to data. Creative, out of the box thinking to challenge the status quo. Title: Sr. Category Manager - SMU & Kids 

Salary or Pay Range: $95,000 - $105,000  

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
