Job Purpose:
This role will focus primarily on the following categories: Mail & Parcel Systems (sorting, conveying and identification) and Construction (new constructions and renovations). Additional responsibilities and qualifications include:
Your Tasks:
Conduct complex tenders and lead difficult negotiations with regional, national and international suppliersFully develop and align a category strategy supported by market intelligence and business partner directionSeek out opportunity to grow Procurement responsibility with business partnersDevelop and maintain thorough knowledge of relevant supply markets, vendor trend analysis and complianceDevelop and implement regional sourcing strategies, utilizing state of the art sourcing practices; under the guidance of corporate sourcing and with the input of country procurement and business partner engagementEstablish and manage good working relationships with corporate sourcing and country management (procurement and others) in order to optimize their spend in relation to corporate initiativesBuild and maintain solid understanding of regional business sector and site needsDrive regional standardization in line with corporate standards, provide ongoing support to country and regional stakeholders (procurement and others)Select, develop and manage best in class suppliers, assists sites and suppliers in on-boarding to the organizationContribute to the definition of supplier assessment criteria. Drive ongoing assessment of supplier performance and provide formal feedback including leading quarterly business reviewsDefine action plans with suppliers to meet corporate and regional objectivesDeliver supplier and contract related communication to internal stakeholders in corporate sourcing, countries and businessesNegotiate and manage suppliers to identify and deliver benefits of continuous improvement initiativesMonitor ongoing benefits tracking and compliance assessments to achieve optimal competitiveness and cost savingsConduct regular supplier benchmarkingAchieve identified key performance indicators including savings and managed spend ratio, supplier performance, savings target achievement, business partner satisfaction and spend complianceGuide regional category teams for Procurement categories Mail & Parcel Systems and ConstructionYour Profile:
Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, International Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related fieldAt least 7 years in Procurement experience, preferably in capital-intensive goods working closely with sourcing colleagues, operating management and business partnersProven experience in sourcing and negotiating large spend contractsDemonstrated ability to work successfully within a cross-functional and multi-stakeholder organizational structureHands-on experience with automated sorting solutions and/or construction projects with a strong network of contacts in the industry spaceFluency in English (oral and written), additional language skills are a plusExcellent interpersonal and communications skillsAbility to work independently while contributing effectively within a teamStrong negotiation and analytical skillsAssertive, results oriented, proactive and strategic thinking with strong personal integrityWe Offer:
