We are looking for:
**Sr. Category Manager Logistics**
The role is to develop, implement, monitor, and realize the sourcing strategy for the Logistics category, in alignment with the company’s requirements and guidelines. The objective is to ensure the achievement of all agreed goals in collaboration with Business Units (BU) and Group functions, while contributing to the overall success of dsm-firmenich.

**Key Responsibilities**
+ Develop the category strategy and an approved plan for the logistics category.
+ Lead the deployment of the strategy within the category and assign priorities for procurement initiatives.
+ Prepare and lead fact-based negotiations, supplier selection, and the contracting process.
+ Manage procurement initiatives in close alignment with relevant stakeholders and procurement colleagues.
+ Act as account manager for key suppliers: develop and manage relationships, track performance, and ensure all contracts are valid and up to date (Key Supplier Management - KSM).
+ Facilitate knowledge sharing, collaboration, and effective communication between category managers and buyers within and across categories by providing strategic and deep category expertise, ensuring the use of standardized processes and best practices.
+ Contribute to the development of the dsm-firmenich Indirect Procurement strategy and actively enhance its profile and recognition within the internal stakeholder community.

+ Based on your experience we will offer you a base salary of € 80,000 to € 125,000 per year (including holiday allowance and 13th month) and extra benefits, such as 25 holiday days, a bonus, the option to buy more holiday days with a 6% my choice budget and much more.
**You Bring** ** **
+ Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in Procurement or a related business function.
+ Strong expertise in category management, strategic thinking, and creative problem-solving.
+ Proven ability to influence and motivate stakeholders across functions.
+ Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and results-driven approach.
+ Solid negotiation and demand management skills.
+ Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to extract actionable insights from data.
+ Proficiency in the local language and English is required; additional languages are an asset.
