Designation : Sr. CAE-Analyst (Restraints)

Job Description :

Good Product knowledge of Dummies, Airbags, Seats & SeatbeltsPositioning Seats & Dummies (Humanetics/ATD ) as per various load cases using primer an ANSA.Conduct detailed CAE simulations for all passive safety load cases, including frontal, side, rear, and knee impact study.Develop and validate finite element models for vehicle restraint systems, including seat belts, airbags, and child safety seats.Analyze and interpret simulation results to identify potential safety issues and recommend design improvements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, testing, and manufacturing, to ensure the integration of safety requirements into vehicle designs.Stay updated with the latest industry standards and regulations related to automotive safetyPrepare and present detailed technical reports and documentation to stakeholders.Participate in design reviews and provide input on safety-related aspects of vehicle development projectsUtilize advanced CAE tools and software, such as LS-DYNA to perform simulations.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.5 to 7 years of experience in CAE analysis with a focus on passive safety load cases.Proficiency in CAE software tools such as LS-DYNA, Primer, ANSA & MetaStrong understanding of vehicle safety standards and regulations (e.g., FMVSS, ECE, NCAP).Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
