About This Role

We are looking for someone to plan, manage, and lead the delivery of detailed system requirements and technical and functional specifications that align to standards and frameworks. You will provide technical leadership and work in close partnership with ambitious business and technology partners, project teams and stakeholders to plan, elicit, analyze, document, communicate and manage detailed functional specifications.

Business AnalysisProvide support and produce detailed system requirements and technical / functional specifications in alignment with standards and frameworksWork in close partnership with business partners / technology / project teams and stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, communicate and manage detailed functional specificationsDevelop effective and efficient solutions by researching/analyzing current state system capabilities and defining technology solutions options / recommendations working closely with key technology partnersAbility to write and execute test plans in DEV and PAT and carry out all necessary tasks required to implement any system changeIdentify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness, and operational efficiency of the business unit and/or team.Manage Incremental Change.Manage BAU change to PNL and Attribution reporting systemScope, size, and manage data quality implementation effortsTesting and ensuring quality of the developed solution: that it meets the business functional requirements and is production-readyL3 SupportIndependently investigate and resolve client support issues.Resolve any complex issues that cannot be resolved by first-line supportSupporting various legacy system retirementsMiscellaneousTraining new/existing clients and implementation teams on softwarePrioritize and manage own workload to deliver quality results and meet timelines

 

Job Requirements :

8-10 years of experience as a Capital Market business analyst with exposure to Product Control/Financial ReportingExperienced in data mappingAbility to analyze business functions, workflows, inputs and outputsBusiness Requirements Document and Functional Requirements document writing skills/experience, flow diagramsHands-on experience working with SQL databases (i.e. queries, data analysis), REST APIs and event mechanismsFamiliarity with Project Management tools such as JIRAStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completenessExcellent written and verbal communication skillsEnjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with competing demandsKnowledge of the software development life cycle and release management processesWorking knowledge of TDS technology platforms, including trade booking source systems and downstream reporting systems is a plusExperienced stakeholder management through both formal and informal means

 

Qualifications:

Required: BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance or equivalent work experience
