**Sr. Business System Analyst** We are looking for a highly skilled hands-on Business Systems Analyst. Someone who can translate business and design requirements into technical requirements for multiple Development teams. Additionally, must have a working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, Jira, Story authoring. **In this role, you will:** + Working closely with the team in executing the goal + Work with Developers and Subject Matter Experts to understand the effort for a requirement, communicate any risks to the Scrum master and facilitate making adjustments that satisfy all parties. + Defining and documenting system requirements, ensuring they align with strategy and architecture. + Translate business and design requirements into technical requirements for multiple Development teams – back-end service developers, framework developers, and UI developers + Conducting user acceptance testing and ensuring products meet quality standards for applications + Continuously monitoring team's products and adjust priorities accordingly + Providing training and support to end-users on the use and functionality of reporting and reporting needs + Lead agile ceremonies like planning, stand-ups and sprint reviews. **What you’ll need to succeed (required skills):** + Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, Jira, Story authoring + Technical knowledge in back-end API services and UI + Excellent writing skills to document system requirements in confluence or Jira stories + Leadership and management experience + Strong communication and presentation skills + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Strong in Data analysis, Mapping, data dictionary, Documentation + Strong in gap analysis, Traceability matrix · Must have domain knowledge in: Mortgage/ Loans exposure, Credit Protection knowledge, Life Insurance knowledge + Graduate preferred + 8 + years of hands-on experience as a Business Systems Analyst, System Analyst, or Technical Analyst, with heavy emphasis on technology and implementation understanding + Great communication and documentation skills. + Great technical skills in Java based web applications and back-end services. + Experience with software development methodologies and practices (Agile, Scrum) + Excellent ability to work in a team + Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with a variety of partners and stakeholders. + Experience and comfort level acting as a subject matter expert and consultant. + Good in bi-lingual, strong functional knowledge of either the insurance or banking domain At Cognizant, we're eager to meet people who believe in our mission and can make an impact in various ways.
