Job DescriptionAs a Regional Lead on Visa's Operational Resilience team, you will be responsible for executing and managing the Operational Resilience program within the CEMEA region. You will spend your days collaborating with key stakeholders across the CEMEA region, with an aim to increase the overall preparedness to manage local risks, challenges and regulatory inquiries, all awhile adhering to global strategies, policies, and procedures. You will be expected to support regional operational coverage, ensuring robust operational stability and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain the global center’s policies, frameworks, and standards within the region. Respond to and manage incidents within the region in accordance with global processes and frameworks. Provide coverage for adjacent regions during periods of staff shortages. Identify and adapt practices as necessary to meet regional needs and requirements. Support Global Center development efforts for new initiatives. Report on regional performance against established KPIs, KRIs, and other performance metrics and requirements. Deliver training programs and promote awareness within the region. Ensure the annual program is successfully achieved in collaboration with global and regional resources. Conduct region-specific exercises based on locally/regionally identified risks. Pilot new initiatives at the regional level. Facilitate timely support for dialogues and discussions with regional leadership, clients, and regulators. Influence and embed operational resilience into regional practices and initiatives.This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
QualificationsBasic Skills :
10 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhDAdvanced working knowledge of office software (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Project) and/or other report building tools with experience in data analytics and metrics reporting.Highly driven, resourceful, and results oriented individual, allowing for limited oversight, with proven leadership in crisis management, business continuity, vendor resilience, and operational resilience methodology and best practice.Advanced understanding of incident response and recovery processes. Working against solving significantly complex problems. Knowledge of risk, regulatory, audit, and governance best practices.Proven ability to have led multiple small-medium sized projects effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with the potential for people management capability.Ability to manage complex issues with limited direct managerial oversight.A team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to mentor junior level employees.Solid analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills with an aim to influence the situation to architect successful outcomes.Preferred Skills :
