Sr. Business Analyst

A Business Analyst is responsible for understanding the use cases, business and technical requirements of a solution to drive requirement gathering, vetting potential technical solutions against requirements, prioritize backlog, and support our engineering teams through the software development life cycle. **Requirement:** 1.Requirement Gathering and Analysis Collaborate with stakeholders (SMEs, PM, PO, and Engineering and Development teams) and users to understand and document use cases/needs. Understand and document both functional and non-functional requirements including user stories and acceptance criteria. Write detailed user stories that translate business and technical requirements into executable work with clear acceptance criteria. 2.Product Development and Backlog Management Create, maintain, and support a healthy product backlog of work vetted with key stakeholders and fully estimated to support grooming and prioritization activities. Work closely with software engineers, data engineers, engineering teams, and product management to ensure they understand scope and purpose of user stories and features as well as non-functional needs. Independently own and escalate prioritization decisions of the user story backlog, make recommendations or decisions as needed for conflicting priorities, and escalate execution or delivery risks. 3.Agile Process Management Build and maintain agile processes in support of an analytics-based web application with complex data schemas. Manage projects, including defining scope, timelines, and deliverables. 4.Stakeholder Communication and Analysis Communicate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure data solutions meet business needs and projects or initiatives are delivered on time and in scope. Deliver ad-hoc analysis as needed to stakeholders in support of key decision making. 5.Compliance and Support Keep up with regulatory compliance and data usage agreements in support of appropriately handling data assets from partners and suppliers. (HIPPA) Effectively track adherence to compliance standards and groom related backlog as new requirements emerge. **Preference:** Experience working in software development, project management, data management, and analysis Experience managing agile processes and requirements gathering for a software product and/or analytics platforms Understanding of US healthcare systems (healthcare operations, hospital systems) Proficiency in data analysis tools and methods (i.e. visualization or business intelligence tools) Strong organizational and process building skills Experience with AWS ecosystem (preferred) Knowledge of Healthcare Standards like HIPAA, and EDI (preferred) Experience working with healthcare revenue cycle data and/or analytics Experience collaborating with data science teams on machine learning or AI-driven analytics features (preferred) Ability to manage cross functional teams to deliver software solutions Ability to think critically and solve problems •3+ Years experience in business analyst role **Position Level** Associate **Country** India At Huron, we’re redefining what a consulting organization can be.
