The SPSE BI Team is looking for a Sr. Business Analyst to develop comprehensive measurement strategies, experimental frameworks, and analytical solutions that help us understand and optimize our most challenging support scenarios. We need to deeply understand our sellers' journey, measure the effectiveness of our AI-powered tools, design experiments that validate our innovations, and create analytical frameworks that guide strategic decisions. In this role, you will have ownership of end-to-end analytics initiatives that shape our support evolution and play an integral role in strategic decision-making. You will work closely with our leaders, seasoned product owners, applied scientists, engineers, UX designers, and operations teams to develop robust measurement systems, impact analyses, and data-driven insights that drive improvements in automation efficiency, support quality, and customer satisfaction. You will partner with our product and science teams to measure and optimize AI solutions, translate complex analytical findings into actionable business strategies, and ensure our innovations deliver meaningful impact to our selling partners. Key job responsibilities - Drive the development and implementation of measurement strategies for AI-powered support solutions - Design and execute sophisticated experimental frameworks to validate product innovations - Lead complex data analysis projects using SQL, Python, and advanced analytical tools - Create scalable analytics solutions and dashboards for monitoring key business metrics - Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership to influence strategic decisions - Mentor junior analysts and foster a data-driven culture within the organization A day in the life You will work closely with product, program, and tech teams to stay connected to the ongoing feature launch roadmaps. The Selling Partners Support ecosystem is constantly evolving, and our analytics systems must be maintained and adapted to ensure our measurement strategy and reporting mechanisms accommodate these changes. You will build a variety of analytics and visualization solutions to support our product features, autonomously perform deep dives to uncover new trends, and work closely with our product team to design experiments and identify opportunities. Your insights will drive data-informed decisions that enhance our support tools and improve the overall experience for our selling partners. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, engineering , analytics, mathematics, statistics or a related technical or quantitative field - 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - 5+ years of writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI experience - Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights - Experience with Excel - Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders Preferred Qualifications - 5+ years of product or a related analytical field experience - Background in e-commerce or customer support analytics - Experience with Python or R for data analysis - Knowledge of machine learning concepts and AI applications Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
