The Sustainability Measurement & Abatement Technology team builds technical solutions to track, record, and forecast Amazon's WW impact on the Environment (i.e., Carbon, Water, Waste, etc.). This includes calculating past and current impacts and future abatement plans, ensuring credibility through standards and validations, and highlighting non-obvious opportunities for Amazon’s global business teams.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team and drive data-driven decision making at the highest levels of our organization by developing and delivering comprehensive sustainability insights across our global operations. As the key architect of this initiative, you will synthesize complex data from multiple domains including Carbon, Waste, Water, and Human Rights initiatives into actionable insights that inform strategic direction and operational excellence. This role offers a unique opportunity to directly influence our organization's sustainability journey while working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams across our global network. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with business acumen and a passion for environmental and social impact.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of executive-level dashboards and reporting solutions that provide actionable insights across sustainability domains (Carbon, Waste, Water, Human Rights, etc.)

- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that align with organizational sustainability goals and objectives

- Lead regular business reviews with senior leadership, preparing materials and driving action items to closure

- Design and implement data visualization solutions that effectively communicate complex sustainability metrics to diverse audiences

- Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in sustainability programs

- Create and maintain documentation for data definitions, business rules, and reporting methodologies

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across regional teams to understand their reporting needs and ensure consistent data interpretation
