Do you want to lead a strategic role that shapes how we work with Selling Partners to ensure the best possible customer experience on Amazon Japan? Do you have the ability to see the big picture of Amazon’s business, going into details with data and exercising business acumen?
We are seeking a transformative Senior Brand Growth leader to drive our Brand Excellence initiatives in the Japanese market. This role will architect and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies that enable brands to maximize their growth on Amazon Japan's ecosystem. The ideal candidate will develop and execute end-to-end product marketing strategies, commercialize brand excellence tools, and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers across key internal. You will be responsible for designing scalable frameworks, leading data-driven growth initiatives, and creating value propositions for products for brands. Success in this role requires strong strategic planning capabilities, demonstrated execution excellence, and business-level Japanese language proficiency to effectively drive high-impact initiatives in this key growth market.
Key job responsibilities
• Develop and execute comprehensive long-term marketing strategies to drive tool adoption and enhance selling partner experience in the Amazon Japan store, supported by market research and competitive analysis
• Build and nurture strategic relationships with key brands (both internal and external), while partnering with Product Managers to align customer needs with product roadmap development
• Lead product positioning and marketing initiatives across multiple channels (sales materials, case studies, videos, web content), maintaining centralized documentation for product information and best practices
• Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Marketing, and Category Management teams to drive shared business goals and deliverables for top brands
• Manage end-to-end product marketing lifecycle including product market go-to-market, performance metrics tracking, and continuous improvement of selling partner tools and programs

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Business level Japanese and Strong English skills within speaking, writing and reading (Need to be able to lead discussions, and write documents in English)
- Proven quantitative skills, including ability to deep dive into data to harness insights, backup assumptions, develop business cases, and inform policy
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience with test and learn, marketing optimization, and experimentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- MBA
- Deep understanding of selling in online stores, working backwards from the customer and selling partner experiences
