The Global Selling team in China is responsible for recruiting local businesses to sell on Amazon’s 18 overseas stores, and supporting local sellers’ success and growth on the Amazon. Our vision is to be the first choice for all types of Chinese business to go globally. We are looking for an experienced and motivated business development professional who possess business acumen and strong interpersonal skills to launch B2B partnerships with strategic significance, especially in the eCommerce space. You will negotiate, develop, drive and manage execution of strategic partnerships and go-to-market (GTM) plans and collaborate with internal teams. You are a data-driven, clear communicator in English and Mandarin (both written and verbal), organized, and have a proven track record of getting things done. Key job responsibilities Key job responsibilities · Learn about Amazon's cross border e-commerce business, determine the right audience to recruit, develop · Identify strategic partner prospects, prepare and participate in negotiations; analyze suggested terms, and manage relationships from start to completion. · Work closely with product management to scope and execute strategic business development plans aligned with our long-term objectives; ensure we prioritize the initiatives appropriately. · Translate market feedback to product/project requirements, and collect data and information to provide guidance for simplification/optimization. · Work cross-functionally with internal Amazon stakeholders to coordinate our overall deliverable plans that support clients’ success. Basic Qualifications - • Bachelor's degree. - •8+ years of post-degree business development experience in the high-tech, eCommerce and/ or retail. - • Demonstrated competence in working independently to structure, negotiate, and close B2B partnerships. - • Exceptional ability to communicate with and influence both technical and non-technical audience. - • Demonstrated track history of scaling partnerships and implementing go-to-market (GTM) plans. - • High judgement and willingness to roll up sleeves to do what is necessary to meet team goals. - • Fluency in English and Mandarin (written and verbal) Preferred Qualifications - • Experience working closely with internal and external product teams to deliver integrations between two companies, new joint products or co-selling motions. - • Experience sourcing, negotiating and managing strategic partnerships (Technology companies and ecommerce agencies). - • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts. - • The ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences. - • Project management skills and strong attention to details. - • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; Strong bias for action. - • Working in a start-up or early stage environment where you will be defining best practice for your function and demonstrated abilities to build a program Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
