As a Sr. Associate Sales Training / Product Coaching , you will be Responsible for executing the training strategy in the field, ensuring Alcon Vision Care products are the first choice for Eye Care Professionals (ECPs). The person will be responsible for upskilling the sales force in selling skills training, product knowledge, and in-field coaching.
A typical day in this role will include:
Spend 70% of the time in the field across Middle East cluster markets to build and maintain strong professional relationships with ECPs, HCP influencers, and key accounts. Ensure all field activities are aligned with HCP needs and market prioritiesBuild relationships with industry influencers, professors, educational institutions, and associations to stay at the forefront of industry trends and insights.Execute the Thought Leader and HCP influencer strategy in the field, building advocacy and support for Alcon products.Collaborate with the Training Manager to identify and engage local HCP influencers and thought leaders.Provide clinical and technical support to ECPs and key customers, ensuring Alcon products are prescribed as the first choice.Deliver on-label education materials and training sessions to ECPs, focusing on fundamental clinical skills and product knowledge.Assist the Training Manager in establishing KOL engagement within the region with a well-structured plan to put a circle of KOLs in place to be our Share of Voice within the professionAssist the Training Manager in identifying and establishing the KOL / HCP Influencer / Advocacy Strategy to influence and educate customers in key launches and commercial prioritiesAssist the Training Manager to increase Alcon's Share of Voice through KOL involvement during Alcon-owned and third-party congressesSupport smaller-scale local events, workshops, and training sessions in the field, ensuring alignment with Alcon’s education strategy.Assist in the execution of Alcon-owned and third-party events at a local level, focusing on ECP engagement and product education.Execute the international PE&D strategy in the field, adapting it to local market priorities to support New Product Launches (NPL) and strategic brandsAssist in implementing pre-launch education and communication strategies in the field, including ECP activation and training for new products.WE ARE SEEKING:
Education/Background: A graduate or master's degree in optometryExperience: Minimum 2 years of clinical/optical practice or industry experience.Computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer, high level of English fluency with Arabic languageStrong interpersonal skills suitable for working in a multicultural/international environment.Good Presentation & Facilitation skillsRole is based in DubaiWilling to travel 70% of the time ( Middle EAST)HOW YOU CAN THRIVE AT ALCON:
