**Job Summary** We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Quality Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Playwright and PEGA with a strong background in quality assurance and testing. Experience in analytics is a plus. This is a work-from-office position with day shifts and no travel required. **Responsibilities** + Lead the quality assurance efforts for various projects ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality. + Oversee the development and execution of test plans test cases and test scripts using Playwright and PEGA. + Provide guidance and mentorship to junior quality engineers helping them to develop their skills and improve their performance. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers product managers and business analysts to ensure that all requirements are clearly understood and met. + Conduct thorough testing of software applications identifying and documenting any defects or issues. + Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during testing. + Ensure that all testing activities are completed on time and within budget. + Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process. + Monitor and report on the progress of testing activities providing regular updates to stakeholders. + Continuously improve the testing process identifying and implementing best practices and new tools as needed. + Ensure that all testing activities comply with industry standards and best practices. + Provide detailed documentation of all testing activities including test plans test cases and test results. + Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to developers to improve the quality of the codebase. **Qualifications** + Possess strong technical skills in Playwright and PEGA. + Have a solid understanding of quality assurance and testing methodologies. + Demonstrate experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases. + Show proficiency in automated testing tools and techniques. + Exhibit excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. + Have strong communication and collaboration skills. + Experience in analytics is a plus. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. + Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. + Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality assurance and testing. + Experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members. + Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in quality assurance. **Certifications Required** Certified PEGA Business Architect (CPBA) ISTQB Certified Tester Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer.
