**Job Summary** We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 5 to 7 years of experience in Java to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a keen interest in Supply Chain Management. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both remotely and on-site with no travel required. **Responsibilities** + Develop test and maintain high-quality Java applications to meet business requirements. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features. + Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications. + Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance. + Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team. + Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed code. + Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the application remains current. + Work closely with the Supply Chain Management team to understand domain-specific requirements. + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. + Implement best practices for software development and ensure adherence to company standards. + Conduct unit testing and support system integration testing. + Assist in the deployment of applications and provide post-deployment support. + Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical solutions. **Qualifications** + Possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. + Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development. + Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Show experience in Supply Chain Management is a plus. + Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills. + Display a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently. + Have experience with version control systems like Git. + Show familiarity with Agile development methodologies. + Demonstrate knowledge of software development best practices. + Have experience with RESTful APIs and web services. + Show proficiency in database management and SQL. + Exhibit the ability to write clean maintainable and efficient code. + Display a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. **Certifications Required** Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 11 Developer Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) is a plus.
