Sr. Associate I, Vision Care Product/Brand Marketing - Downstream

This role is part of Alcon's Marketing function, a team that helps provide access to products across all channels, including through traditional Marketing strategies, event planning, and professional education.

The Sr. Associate I, Vision Care Product/Brand Marketing - Downstream (Professional Path), is primarily responsible for planning and producing marketing materials to implement strategies and achieve sales objectives. You will create informational content for the sales force, evaluate promotional programs, and oversee the production of promotional materials. Specifics include:

• Plan, create, and produce marketing, advertising, and sales promotion materials to implement marketing strategies and sales objectives
• Produce informational material for the sales force and communications media to reach a maximum number of customers and prospects
• Evaluate and modify promotion or advertising programs
• Prepare and/or approve all technical and artistic phases of the finished promotional material
• Purchase promotional materials and oversee activities such as layout, sales kit preparation, display arrangement, internet promotions, and sales outline writing
• Plan, direct, create, and communicate clinical study timelines, ensuring consistency and resolving operational aspects according to standard operating procedures, Good Clinical Practice, and country-specific regulations
• Prepare clinical trial budgets and ensure the study is conducted within clinical trial protocols
• Monitor progress and resolve issues in collaboration with team members and line managers
• Prepare and implement the clinical development strategy as outlined by the clinical teams, including developing recruitment strategies for trials
• Ensure orders and customer queries are correctly and promptly processed, maintaining customer service and completing relevant administrative work and reports
• Process incoming orders, manage back orders, and handle returns within the Returns Policy, ensuring all Purchase Orders are attached to the orders in IRIS and processing credits for price adjustments
• Perform quality assurance/pharmacovigilance duties and serve as a technical knowledge expert in providing ongoing in-market support
• Notify the Local Vigilance Office or delegate of any adverse events and/or quality complaints within 24 hours
• Liaise to guide ongoing product development decisions and lead train-the-trainer activities

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Marketing is preferred and / or equivalent Marketing Assistant experience

Skills and Experience

>3 years' experience in marketing coordinator/assistant positions within consumer health / pharmaceutical / med device regulated environment

• Experience in both direct to consumer & healthcare professional marketing

• Prior experience in product launches

Preferred:

Able to plan, develop, implement and evaluate marketing strategies for new and existing products.Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
