This role is for the Senior Associate Brand Manager, Candy Innovation, which will have a specific focus on leading execution of the Everyday Candy pipeline across Sour Patch Kids and Swedish Fish brands. This role will be instrumental in delivering our Vision 2030 Ambition for the Candy business. The Senior Associate Brand Manager will be responsible for innovation commercialization and development across this portfolio with potential to flex into emerging new platforms for the brand.  

Role would be a hybrid setting of 2-3 days in our East Hanover, New Jersey office 

  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Support Brand Manager and Senior Director to create candy innovation strategy and 2–5 year pipeline 

Delivery & execution of the multi-year innovation agenda from concept to launch; collaborating closely with the cross functional team to ensure flawless execution. 

Lead and collaborate with cross functional team through feasibility, commercialization & launch of innovations 

Work closely with sales, consumer insights & finance to develop new item forecasts and projections that align with our financial hurdles, and mitigate waste potential 

Partner with sales to develop selling stories and communications in support of innovation sell in 

Post launch tracking and integration of learnings into pipeline innovation development 

Independent analysis combined with partnership with consumer insights to develop deep understanding of the consumer, brand, and category dynamics to inform winning, relevant innovation across channels. 

What extra ingredients you will bring:

2-4 years of relevant work experience required 

CPG experience preferred. 

Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities 

Ability to thrive in and handle ambiguity & fast paced environment  

Analytic and creative thinking skills 

Strong business acumen and marketing capabilities 

Strong leadership / communication / collaboration skills 

Demonstrated track record of sales/marketing/commercialization execution 

Ability to lead a cross functional team 

Experience analyzing syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI) preferred 

  

Education / Certifications:

Bachelor’s Degree is required; Master’s Degree preferred 

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is $95,100 to $130,800; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
