We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon.

As an Equipment Field Trainer supporting our Third-Party Sales Partners and Internal Surgical Team across Central & Southern Eastern Europe (CSEE), you will be trusted to deliver impactful equipment training and support commercial excellence in the field. Based in one of our Export Market locations within the CSEE cluster, you’ll help elevate knowledge, confidence, and performance related to Alcon’s world-class surgical equipment.

In this role, a typical day will include:

Collaborating with field sales partners and internal teams to strengthen technical understanding and address capability gaps in Alcon surgical equipment.

Designing and delivering engaging training sessions—both face-to-face and virtual—based on needs identified through performance feedback and field observations.

Supporting onboarding and integration of new delegates into the sales environment through structured training programs and mentorship.

Acting as a trusted advisor and knowledge model during field visits and operating room calls, supporting effective product demonstrations and strategic selling.

Evaluating training effectiveness through feedback and certification processes, and continuously refining content for greater impact.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

A university degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred.

5+ years of experience in medical device sales, product training, or a related commercial role.

Strong understanding of medical equipment and surgical environments, with hands-on experience in the field.

Fluency in English is required; knowledge of an additional Central or Southern European language is a strong advantage.

Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and inspire confidence across diverse markets.

HOW YOU CAN THRIVE AT ALCON:

Enjoy autonomy and variety in a regionally focused role where no two days are the same—spanning live field support, training design, and virtual sessions.

Join a purpose-driven, high-performing team where your impact supports better outcomes for patients across multiple countries.

Grow your career in a global leader in eye care that invests in its people and values continuous learning.
