The Sr. Associate, Surgical Field Sales – IOLs will be responsible for establishing and implementing a sales business plan for a designated client base or implementation of a specific sales program to effectively support the patient journey and properly position Alcon and its brands. Being able to communicate Alcon´s value and purpose through service provision.

In this role, a typical day will include:

Driving sales, promotion and development in the designated accounts to reach commercials goals.Commitment to achieving sales targets and meeting deadlines.Expanding the relationship with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their needs and objectives.Look for new customers and new business opportunities.Lead the preparation of strategies and individual tactical plans and to give strategic input in terms of analysis, future potential and key programs required for the accounts.Prepare and negotiate commercial contracts and follow up of the execution and performance.Analyze market situation including competitive intelligence activities on key accounts and key competitors.Contribute to the mapping of stakeholders, including segmentation and profiling and provide accurate and timely data for the Alcon CRM system.Have knowledge of the overall potential of the business (surgical volume, surgeon´s preferences and consumption habits, etc).Have a strong relationship with decisions makers, influencers, and successors.  Establish and develop long-term relationships with the customers in the assigned territory.Timely and effective resolution of customer request needs and issues.Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer need and requirements.Be responsible of maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.EFA management.Management of IOLS Consignment.Have a strong knowledge of Alcon´s products as well as competition products knowledge.Planning and reporting daily activities in Alcon´s CRM system.Open service requests and follow up actions.Competition activities knowledge and communicationConsignment inventories, demo equipment and samples.  Train and coach, the other sales representatives’ colleagues.Follow all adverse event guidelines and Code of Conduct guidelines as promoted by Alcon.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

Bachelor's degree in Ophtalmology, Biomedical Engineer, or similar.English advanced level+6 years of experience as sales representative in ophthalmology / medical devices.Strong knowledge of the medical devices market.Knowledge in selling and negotiation with customersMBA will be a plus.Communicational abilities (advanced level).Teamwork capabilities (advanced level).Negotiation skills (advanced level).Emotional Intelligence (advanced level)Time management and organization (advanced level).Analysis of data skills (Intermediate level).
