The Cyber Threat Intelligence team works with partners, both internal and external, to reduce risk to the Bank and to the financial sector at large. The team provides timely situational awareness, conducts deep analysis of threats, and translates indicators of threat into actionable information to reduce impact to the bank. Stakeholders include cyber-security response teams, internal lines of business, senior leadership, and external organizations such as law enforcement, industry peers and intelligence sharing partners.
We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Technology Architect to join our Cyber Threat Intelligence team within out Cyber Threat Defense (CTD) organization. This role will play a critical part in shaping and securing our organization by embedding cyber threat insights into architectural planning and execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for informing enterprise-wide architecture strategies, guiding security initiative prioritization, and driving the integration of CTI tools and platforms across the organization.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Collaborate with enterprise and infrastructure architects to embed threat intelligence into architectural decisions.
• Evaluate emerging cyber threats and translate their implications into architectural recommendations to improve infrastructure resilience.
• Provide technical leadership in designing secure architectures for cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments.
• Partner with risk management, security operations, and business stakeholders to align threat intelligence findings with enterprise security priorities.
• Support decision-making around security investment by evaluating threats, vulnerabilities, and their potential impact on key business assets.
• Develop roadmaps that balance threat landscape realities with organizational risk tolerance and business objectives.

Required Skills:
• Proven experience (7+ years) in enterprise IT architecture, cybersecurity architecture, or related technology leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of cyber threat intelligence practices and their operational applications within enterprise IT environments.
• Deep understanding of IT infrastructure domains (cloud, networking, identity, endpoint, etc.) and how they are impacted by cyber threats.
• Familiarity with industry-standard CTI tools and platforms (e.g., MISP, ThreatConnect, Recorded Future, Splunks, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with integrating CTI data into security operations tools like SIEM, SOAR, and XDR platforms.
• Ability to analyze complex threat scenarios and translate them into technical design considerations and business risks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of influencing technical and non-technical audiences.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, SABSA, CISSP, GCTI, AWS/Azure Architect) are highly desirable.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
