Key to this mandate is streamlining, simplifying, and automating processes by building and supporting instrumentation, analytics, reporting, and capacity-management capabilities. The Sr. Application Developer, Automation & Analytics is responsible for developing solutions leveraging self-serve tools such as _VBA, Alteryx_ , _Azure DevOps & Tableau_ to address business problems. The candidate will assist in the resolution of routine and non-routine operational problems or issues by investigating, analyzing, and providing an informed and independent opinion or recommendation on compliance issues, changes to policies, adequacy of operational controls, risk assessment, and control activities.The Sr. Application Developer, Automation & Analytics provides technical leadership to develop precise steps and processing logic across all platforms, ensuring the designed specifications achieve business needs. In addition, the role provides comprehensive senior-level technical consulting to other senior management and senior technical teams. The role will report to the Director of Analytics & Automation in addition to the Director of Strategic Initiatives, to implement new VBA solutions, and, where applicable, transition legacy VB/VBA processes and tools to Alteryx, Tableau and other and tech managed applications. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong understanding of business analytics and have an automation mindset. Understand the business requirements and translate them into system and application design that is aligned with our technology roadmap. Design and document the technical functionality, infrastructure, interfaces, and integrations. Lead the design of cost-effective and innovative solutions to meet both business objectives and the goal of operational efficiency. + **Strategy and Roadmap:** Contribute to technology roadmaps that are aligned with the bank’s vision, strategy, and business objectives. Lead multiple complex technology solutions while maintaining consistency across the platform, adopting best practices and pushing forward continuous improvements + **Stakeholder Management:** Act as the solution lead and interface with the project teams by driving and moderating design review sessions to walk stakeholders through and ensure that the overall design aligns with business requirements as well as architectural directions.
